New Translation
There is an old story that goes like this.
Two religious scholars were studying an ancient text which influenced several other religions that were prominent two thousand years ago.
“Oh my God”, one of the scholars gasped as he looked up in astonishment from the old parchment he was peering at with a magnifying glass. “I think I just found a colossal mistake in the earliest manuscript of this period that influenced all the religious and spiritual teachings that followed!”
His fellow scholar looked over at his old friend and asked, “Tell me, what is this huge grammatical mistake you feel is so important? What could you have found at this late date that no one else has ever previously discovered?”
The elderly scholar hand trembled as he pointed to the mis-translated word.
“Here it is!”
The two scholars gazed upon the word... ‘celibate’.
Both scholars could clearly see that it had been mis-translated.
The word in its proper context in the ancient manuscript was meant to read, “Human beings should ‘celebrate’”, not “be ‘celibate’“ as it had been translated.
Think for a moment of the profound difference between the word ‘celebrate’ and ‘celibate’.
As the story goes, one grammatical error passed down through the ages led to centuries of religious and spiritual suppression of the natural energy of sex and diverted humanity from the inherent joy of the celebration of life as free sexual beings.
Let’s reverse the importance of these two words and bring ecstatic sacred sexual celebration back to the forefront of human experience.
Quantum Merging is the joyful celebration of our birthright as free sexual beings forever connected to our Divine Source.
