A Mystical Life in a Mundane World

Part One

Creating A World Within The World

Throughout time men and women awakening on the spiritual path have asked the same question: “How do I live a mystical life in a mundane world?"

This question is even more urgent and puzzling in today’s modern world. Though it has been asked in previous generations, human civilization now moves at an ever-increasing pace and operates within a coarse vibrational frequency that is for the most part anathema to a mystical life.

In order to live a mystical life in a mundane world ~ in our modern world that does not commonly honor or support an awakened way of being, thinking and acting ~ each man and woman who wants to walk the mystic’s path while being fully present in life must act in an entirely different manner than what is commonly taught and expected.

The first and most important task is to dedicate our energy and attention to attune to the light and consciousness that is the Source of all life in whatever way that we are each moved to do this. This can be any form of meditation, contemplation or consciousness practice, even something as simple as deep communion with nature or reverent beholding of the stars. Secondly, within that attunement and communion with the essence of our own being, we make a bold choice to live our daily life with an open heart. This is not an easy choice, because it opens us to both the appearance of miracles and the vulnerability in which our heart can be wounded. Third, within this lion-hearted choice of vulnerable attunement we make the giving and receiving of love our highest priority no matter what else is going on in the world around us. 

This three-part choice is paradoxical, because living a mystical life in a mundane world appears in many ways to be impossible. This is why sensitive individuals in the past who felt inclined toward a mystical existence have historically retired from civilization to live in caves and monasteries as hermits and recluses. Such a choice no longer serves the evolution of human consciousness as it once did. Now is the time for men and women to embrace the mystical by standing strong in the midst of the fray and fashioning their own life as a bridge between earth and heaven.

The old way of mysticism was the solitary road, the monastic path, the way of abstinence, asceticism and secluded meditation in a faraway place separated from the world. 

In addition to removing themselves from the world, spiritual seekers were also advised to search for an ‘enlightened’ Guru who held the promise of 'awakening' through unconditional surrender to him or her and committing their life to the practice of his or her teachings. 

I, Nimbus, gave a large portion of my life to both of these pursuits and saw first hand the good, bad and ugly of these two paths. Out of the ashes of my attempts at awakening through the first path of prolonged solitude and asceticism (which lasted four years), and the second path of total surrender to a guru who I and many others presumed to be fully enlightened (which lasted fifteen years), I finally solved the spiritual riddle about these forms of seeking and discovered how to live awake in the midst of this perplexing world. 

I, Varshana, was raised from birth in an ashram devoted to a world-renowned Guru and my early life was complete immersion in a daily cycle of guru devotion. As an adult I had to discover a completely different way to claim my own sovereignty, freedom and direct connection to Source. Before meeting Nimbus, he and I were each fiercely committed to finding a way to align with the blissful consciousness that pervades all of existence. Quantum Merging is our intimate confession of the discoveries we have made of how to live a mystical life in a mundane world.

Men and women today who aspire to live a mystical life in the midst of the world can make a different choice than asceticism or guru devotion. We have the opportunity to choose an orientation that is founded in embodied ecstasy rather than separation between the body and Spirit, or of trying to attain something that a guru has that you think you don’t. The modus operandi of this new opportunity is Quantum Merging, a free way of mystical erotic love available to all who will choose it.

In this way of embodied living we become modern-day magicians who conjure a different reality right before our eyes. We create a world within the world. We gradually and steadily refine and elevate our core vibration so that we may attract a matching mate and matching friends who resonate with the highest frequency of our soul. In our modern culture of disconnect this soul aligned join-up beyond ourself is an essential requirement for successfully living a mystical life in a mundane world. We can't any longer go it alone. 

The next step of the conscious evolution of love calls us to sacred relationship. Inhering in our own unshakable connection to Source we attract a vibrationally-matching mate (and a tribe of others doing the same) to join us on a life-altering, mind-expanding, heart-widening, body-transforming journey of sacred love, holy sex and mutual devotion. We are being called to nothing less than becoming the next iteration of the human species, Homo Amore Luminosa, luminous beings of love. We are being inspired to create a life of love, desire and devotion expressed as Divine Union with another human being whose soul vibration matches ours. In this way we become the creators of our own reality within the greater Reality, conjuring a new world within the world.

The old ways are still available for those who are drawn to them, but Quantum Merging is a new way of awakening that is founded in mutual love, mutual passion and mutual honoring with another being who meets us fully in the heart. QM has emerged out of our own real life experiences. It is not another form of the ancient knowledge of Tantra, even though we have recalibrated and revitalized the essence of some of these older teachings for our modern times. 

Nimbus and Varshana are not gurus or authorities to follow. We do not profess to be the next in line of an exalted lineage of gurus from an ancient spiritual path. In fact, we make no claims other than that we are sacred lovers sharing our experience with the hope that it might inspire others to have new conversations about love and sex and explore new ways of being.  

Quantum Merging is simple and direct. Quantum Merging is a rebel teaching, guru-free, offering modern men and women an empowered spiritual practice. Quantum Merging is an invitation to walk a path of embodied ecstasy, a shared way of human/Divine love with another being. Quantum Merging is a body-positive, sex-positive, consciousness-positive way of being in the world. Quantum Merging is a call to create a noble life shared with another man or woman. Quantum Merging is an ecstatic way in which two-become-one through the blended attributes of mystical erotic love. Quantum Merging is a way in which sacred lovers co-create a radiant world within the world that becomes their primary reality.

Over millennia only a few spiritual teachers have lived among us to show human beings an example of how to blend human and Divine love. Most of our inherited religious and spiritual traditions have taught us that God is elsewhere, that 'we are not the body', that women and money are the cause of our downfall. This has created an almost irrevocable split between sex and Spirit, body and soul, and our natural link of humanity with Divinity.

Here and there throughout history a few spiritually awakened couples have appeared as ‘Archetypes of the Ecstatic’. Shiva and Shakti, Radha and Krishna, and Padmasambhava and Yeshe (many also feel that Jesus and Mary Magdalene should be included in this category) are examples of enlightened beings who were awake together, not separate, superior and alone in an exalted state. 

In spite of centuries of suppression and denial by most religions and spiritual traditions, the purity of the spiritual awakening of these unique couples was expressed through the mystical sexual embrace with their Divine Beloved.

Why did each of these enlightened beings choose to express their spiritual realization together rather than alone, even if they may have originally awakened while secluded in some remote cave or monastery? 

Each of these men and women made a bold decision that went against the tide of their time. They advocated for the masculine/feminine dynamic that pulses through all creation. They made the radical choice to demonstrate their spiritual realization through interwoven forms of meditation, service, ecstatic love and sacred sexuality with another being as a direct link to the heart of the Universe. 

To this very day we refer to the fullness of spiritual realization as Shiva/Shakti or Radha/Krishna, because we intuitively know that truth harbors the dual attributes of Infinite Consciousness and the manifest Energies of Creation expressed through the Divine masculine and feminine forces forever merged as One in quantum entanglement. This is why the symbol of two entwined serpents rising together as one has always represented the fully awakened human being.

These historical couples who came together to form a Divine Union while alive in human form first did their own individual sadhana (spiritual practice) to forge a deep connection to the Infinite Consciousness which is the Source of all existence. But after awakening, these few unique men and women saw the non-necessity of continuing a life of solitary meditation that preceded that revelation. They saw that awakening was not a dry, reclusive accomplishment. Quite the opposite. Their hearts and minds were blown open with the vast force of love that pervades the cosmos!  Their bodies were overflowing with radiance, longing to share that bliss with another similarly radiant being. Their awakening was the utter cessation of the illusion of separation and the merging of self into the One. In such an exalted state of ecstasy they left their desert cave or monastery and naturally magnetized their perfect energetic male or female complement, thereby discovering a revolutionary way in their time to live a mystical life in a mundane world.

None of these particular awakened men and women were ‘married couples’ as we tend to think of them. A better way to understand their intimacy would be to call it a Sacred Union, or Divine Marriage. Their intimate unions were expressions of their realization of love, not attempts to find love after realization. 

These awakened couples did not have ‘sex’ as we commonly think of it. Their sexual unions were mystical mergings of enlightening ecstasy that fueled their awakened service in the world. For them sex was mystical Fire. For them sex was Bliss. For them sex was dissolution in the Isle of God. 

Each of these archetypal couples understood the wisdom of regularly spending time apart from one another, but whenever they consciously chose to come together to clasp one another in the fire of their intimate embrace the ecstatic emanations of their mystical mergings reverberated throughout the Cosmos. 

These sacred couples did not turn away from the body as if it was the cause of bondage and material illusion, but transformed it to become a vehicle of ecstasy, bliss and realization. Standing upon the shoulders of these awakened beings who have come before us, we too can now choose a contemporary way of mystical erotic love in our day and age that is similar in its effects. We are free to choose a fresh new way that fuses Sex and Spirit, Feminine and Masculine, and Humanity with Divinity.

Part Two

The Alchemy of Quantum Merging

What are the primary elements that make up Quantum Merging? How do we actually live this contemporary form of Divine Union through the practice of mystical erotic love?

Quantum Merging is a modern way of awakening, first within each individual heart and then through two hearts ignited. Each partner finds his or her own connection to Source, draws to themselves their supremely attractive and complementary mystic mate and then co-creates a new life together in the following five ways:

1) Mutual Love-Communion 

The path of Quantum Merging is consciously chosen with another embodied soul who resonates at the same soul frequency, but who is energetically wired in an oppositely polarized manner. This sacred partnership can be man/woman, man/man or woman/woman as long as both partners live each day in such a manner that they are progressively transformed into living archetypes of the Divine Feminine and Masculine for each other. Their communion of love is vast and unconditional. They see one another as emanations of the Divine;

2) Mutual Cultivation of Ecstasy 

QM utilizes unique energetic processes and practices which raise the luminous frequencies and subtle inner currents of energy of the human body into the highest vibrations of Love-Bliss. Basically we become kick-ass yogis and yoginis. Whether in yoga class or on our own mat at home, or dancing, or practicing chi kung, or working out in the gym, or moving outside in harmony with nature, the day to day cultivation of the highest possible energetic flows within us is what is primary. We offer our open body as a vessel that acts as a strong and flexible conduit of ecstasy with our partner, creating a direct line to the Divine; 

3)Mutual Devotional Surrender

This is something almost unheard of in modern relationships. In Q Merging each pair of human Beloveds sees the ‘other’ as they are in truth ~ luminous, radiant and free. Each partner invites the other to merge beyond two-into-one, rather than relating through the traditional two-tiered dynamic of one above and one below that characterizes the traditional guru-disciple relationship, or the typically devotionless structure of romance and marriage;

4) Sacred Sexual Intimacy

In Quantum Merging holy sex is essential, but it does not sit at the top of the list of the five elements of a sacred union. Sacred sexual fusion is the engine that drives the vehicle of the relationship, but it does not exist as a practice by itself. When all the other elements are present in a Divine Union then sex transforms into a turbo-charged rocketship of ecstasy. Sacred Eros is the juice of each holy relationship, the rising sap of the tree of life that is the couple. The incredible power of the sacred erotic shared within their union is the fire that ignites all the rest; 

5) Sacred Marriage 

This is Heiros Gamos (Greek for 'holy marriage'), the Sacred union between each Mystic Bride and her Heart Husband, celebrated in deep connection with the elements of Nature and honored within the tribe of the world-wide community of fellow initiates of Quantum Merging. Heiros Gamos is the container that holds the  elements of love, cultivation of ecstasy, devotional surrender and holy sex. The Divine Marriage is the magician's alchemical cauldron in which the lovers create a a vibrant new world of their own making within the world.

You might ask, "Even though I have done so much work on my own to evolve my consciousness, I still cannot find my matching mate to share a sacred life of love. How is it possible for any of us to find such a rare and uniquely compatible mystical lover to co-create such magic in this crazy world?" 

The answer to that is to first know that it is possible, then desire it with all our heart, and finally to send forth our clear intention as if we are a lighthouse steadily beaming light into the cosmos.  Do this and we will instantly expand beyond local mind into the One Consciousness which ~ amazingly ~ includes the conscious awareness of that special one whose heart strings perfectly fit into the receptive fibers of our own heart. 

In this way, as we shapeshift out of ordinary thinking into the way of mystical beholding, we see our perfect male or female mate within our mind’s eye, inviting him or her to enter our heart’s inner chamber. Our intention becomes a super-powered magnet sending attractive waves through the world, and it will unfailingly draw them in.  If we do this with unwavering conviction, while simultaneously taking action that brings us joy, the lover who is our perfect match at this time in our life will arrive. As said in the movie Field Of Dreams, "Build it and he will come". First we build our inner vision and then the outer manifestation will magnetize and match it. The secret is to begin from a place of fullness ~ the 'I Am Bliss' consciousness ~ and from that place of free awareness we call forth our dreams.

In Quantum Merging we discover how to move in this magical manner that is natural to the mystic. From the very first steps on this new journey everything begins to shift and is transformed in due time. Ordinary life ceases to draw the majority of our attention, until we eventually pass through a portal of transformation in which the three primary mystical qualities of love, desire and devotion effortlessly and steadily begin to arise within us and our lover. 

What exactly are these three qualities that compose the triad of Quantum Merging?

First...Love

The expansion of holy love between the new-found souls who have been magnetized to each other allows a deep healing to begin from the very first moment of their mutual recognition. The sheer force of their mutually magnetic love and attraction shakes up the inertia of their old patterns. Their two open hearts expand exponentially as they merge into the 'I Am Bliss' consciousness more and more, until ecstatic love becomes their primary reality even within the permutations of the mundane world that might have previously distracted them. 

Second...Desire

It is an understatement to say that when this powerful magnetic sexual attraction draws each destined man and woman to one another, it acts similarly to the irresistible force of a Binary Star system!  The two-become-one on this path of Quantum Merging (which may also be co-created between two men or two women if these same mystical qualities and powerful energetic polarities are awakened between them). 

The dynamic force of sexual attraction generated between the mystic mates draws them beyond themselves, lighting them up through the ignition process of sacred passion. This Fire of Eros very quickly establishes a central channel of light to rise up between their bodies during every intimate embrace, ultimately becoming an awe-inspiring whirling Vortex and fireworks-fountain of Super Nova Ecstasies. 

Third...Devotion

In Quantum Merging we honor each other's Luminous Nature, seeing through the highs and lows of the outer personality to view the other’s original soul form of light. Life becomes founded upon the sharing and co-creation of mutual trust, mutual surrender and mutual honoring in which the arts of mystical love and desire are spontaneously enacted as acts of worship with each other on a daily basis. 

Throughout all the inevitable challenges that are part of life, within this trifecta of Divine Union the lovers choose to make each breath a mantra of love, they attune their heartbeats to echo the deep pulsing of the cosmic drum and they make it a priority to craft their actions as expressions of gratitude. If they stumble and fall, no worries, they get up and step right back into it. Quantum Merging is not about perfection, but about permission to be our highest and best through sacred intimacy with another being.

In these ways, the energies of love, desire, devotion, ecstasy, joy and bliss arise and subside as waves within the sea of love shared with the special being whose soul has been drawn to ours, the one whose heart, mind and body resonate at the same frequency as our own. 

The Quantum Beloveds are set free to frolic, to merge deeper, wider and further without end, to co-create new forms of beauty in the world and to devote their ever-evolving energies of love as expressions of service and blessing to others in reverence with all life.

Part Three

Slow Down and Speed Up

Once you have come to this point on the Quantum Merging journey, your life becomes a celebration of the miracle of having found your matching soul partner to journey with you on the mystical erotic path of love. In order to fully and steadily live a mystical life in this mundane world your next task is deceptively simple ~ to simultaneously slow down and speed up.

What? How is that possible?

In order to co-create the conditions as a sacred couple that support a mystical way of being within the world, we must first slow down by choosing to step out of the frantic pace of modern life. This moves us closer to the rhythms of the earth and helps us to become sensitized to the light codes continuously beaming down upon us from the stars. As we begin to slow down in this way, we also paradoxically speed up in an entirely different manner.

We speed up not by moving frantically like the rest of humanity racing around us, but by increasing the velocity of the subtle currents of life-force in our physical form, and transforming our home and workspace into a high vibration in which we can fully live our sacred love. In Quantum Merging we slow down our pace of life, while simultaneously increasing the frequency and vibration of energy in our body and intimate environment until it is moving closer to the speed of light.

What is the favorite way for Quantum Mergers to slow down and speed up? We deliciously Divinely Fuck each other into the 'I Am Bliss' consciousness as much as possible! This becomes the rudder that keeps us on course while we attend to all else that needs to be done in our lives.

We consciously slow down to be fully present in life while doing the best we can to turn the most ordinary tasks into actions that vibrate at the speed of love ~ even while working, picking up our kids from school, taking care of our home and land, shopping, cooking, cleaning, enjoying entertainments, being with friends, exercising, meditating, etc.

The QM form of slowing down is founded in a conscious choice to not put ourself into unnecessary, unhealthy, or chaotic circumstances if we don’t have to. For instance, why choose to watch a violent movie that stirs up a cascade of stress chemistry in our body? Why eat in a restaurant that does not prepare healthy food with a conscious vibration? Why spend more time than we have to in public places that are devoid of love or the nourishing elements of Nature? 

To live a mystical life in a mundane world, we assess every choice by asking a simple question: Will this action serve the magnification of our sacred love? That is our barometer. With every new choice we decide if we want to slow down our response to life or speed up our ecstatic energy in love, or both.

In this way, we consciously choose the people, environments and activities that best serve our sacred connection to life, enhance our love and energize the subtle circuitry of our body. Conversely, we minimize our involvement with the people, environments and activities that do not support an ecstatic life. This is not done out of judgement, but with discernment. We walk through life holding a flower of love in front of our heart with one hand, while the other hand rests on the sword of discernment in the scabbard on our back. Love is our first impulse, and yet we are prepared to cut through illusion and dross whenever necessary. To the best of our ability we choose the highest and best from among the options in every moment, as if we are a honeybee zipping along among all the possible flowers in the garden, only selecting those with the flavor of nectar that resonates with us.

Living with our lover in this way we begin to feel deeply nourished. When we are moving slowly enough to listen, to feel and entrain with the pulsating electromagnetic rhythm of the 'heartbeat' of the earth, we can simultaneously speed up the energies in our body to be sensitive to and nourished by the subtle vibrations of cosmic rays streaming to earth.

The mundane world of the twenty-first century is moving with the kind of speed that is out of synch with the natural rhythms of nature and the harmonious electromagnetic pulsations of the earth and our stellar origins. Modern life is primarily powered by electricity moving through millions of miles of copper wire at speeds of 50-60 Hertz (in contrast to the 7.8 Hertz of the earth). Human beings are bombarded day and night with increasingly powerful microwaves, wi-fi, and cellular 4G and 5G frequencies operating at incredibly rapid and energetically jarring speeds.

If we think of humans as energetic ‘star beings’ temporarily housed during each lifetime in earthly bodies, we can see that every human being is infused with the radiant life force of the stars and yet also molded from the earth. While alive we inhabit a body created from the very same elements that make up the stars and the soil upon which we walk and the creatures who share our planet. We are enlivened by the very same forces that sustain life on earth and power our sun and the stars within our own galaxy and in all the distant inter-dimensional galaxies that comprise the entire Universe. It is scientific fact that our bodies, all living creatures and earth itself are primarily made of star dust.

Since this is the case, the precise ways of how each one of us needs to slow down and speed up to live a mystical life in a mundane world become clear. We discover our own way to step out of the furious pace of the world while simultaneously increasing the frequency of the vibration of life force and love within our own body and with our lover and our intimate environment. We let our body slow down in entrainment with the rhythms of the earth and allow our consciousness to expand to touch the stars. We care for Nature and tend to all the living beings who share life with us on earth. We become beauty-makers in all we do. We share mystical sex with our matching mate as our highest choice for as long as we have the erotic juice to merge body-to-body into light. 

In Quantum Merging we prioritize our life and allow everything to revolve around the vibrating vortex of bliss co-created in our sacred union. In support of that primary choice, as often as possible we gaze at night toward the stars and moon to absorb their emanations through our eyes and the subtle sensors on our skin. We greet the golden sun at dawn to be nourished by its light through our eyes. And we rejoice with our bare feet upon the fertile soil of the living body of the earth. We play among the creatures of Nature. We embrace the trees. We light a sacred fire and let our body mingle with the elements of sun, rain, snow, wind, water and air.

In all these ways, we learn to bend time, to move at the paradoxically slow and fast pace of the mystic’s world within the world, to exist in harmony upon the fertile humus of earth as well in entrainment with the finely vibrating stellar forces that make up the substrata of all existence. 

What happens when we do this? 

Everything changes. Our mind easily expands into the consciousness in which all thoughts arise. Our eyes open with true seeing. Our heart widens in sync with the heart of the world. Shift happens. We delight as mystical lovers in a magical world co-created with our Beloved within the ordinary world. The Flower of Life reveals its secrets. The Lingam of Light rises strong. We see that everything is fantastically beautiful. All of life is extraordinary, even more amazing than its seems. Everything is part of the whole, expressing the radiance of the One. 

Once we taste the magnificence of this free awareness of life, the multiplicity of all possible desires becomes simplified down to one: inhering as 'I Am Bliss'. Because we have discovered the secret of sex ~ that it opens us directly to the 'I Am Bliss' consciousness ~ we merge in sacred sexual union with our lover as often as we can.

The shared erotic ecstasy with our Beloved is our secret portal to Source. Through holy sex we expand beyond self into the 'I Am Bliss' consciousness. We build a new vortex of bliss in each act of Divine sexual union with our matching mate, and the Heiros Gamos is spontaneously accomplished. As we are lost in the sublimity of our erotic embrace, subtle secretions of ecstasy flood the brain and nervous system with natural DMT, Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins. Our chakras begin to spin so fast that they create a conduit to the stars. Secret chambers open within our heart and our mystical sight is unlocked. 

All this just from sex? Oh yes, all this and more. Through Holy Sex in the shared ecstasy with our soul-resonant mate we become modern day mystics, frolicking among the filaments of light between our bodies and the fabric of the cosmos. We weave a luminescent tapestry of radiant Consciousness and resplendent Energy that creates our own unique form of the mystic's world within the world.  Living within that alluring world we spontaneously sing our favorite mantra, 'I Am Bliss', again and again.

As lovers who are among the fortunate men and women who behold and honor the Great Weaver’s Creation in this way, our sacred embrace through mystical erotic love becomes the most auspicious choice we consistently make while alive in the shimmering world of our own making within the world.

As two-who-become-one we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that in our union of ecstasy we have plucked a pure diamond from among the stones and held it up to shine bright in the sun. For all the remaining days of our lives, in gratitude we live our sacred union one breath of love at a time until the dissolution of our earthly existence in the transition of death-into-light that lifts us all.

When we are fortunate to be drawn to our mystic mate from across the world, mysteriously coming together within an unstoppable, attractive, magnetic force-field of love, then our life is forever transformed from the first moment of that destined meeting.

Do you see? This star-crossed meeting is the epitome of a human lifetime. What is most important is not seeking and finding an idealized romantic connection, it is not sitting at a guru’s feet, it is not the fulfillment of great accomplishments in the eyes of the world. All of that may seem important until the moment we gaze into the equal eyes of the soul who matches our own soul, whose whole heart fills our whole heart and whose body awakens the thrill of a bliss beyond compare.

In that soul recognition, we no longer seek for our ‘other half,' longing for romance with a half-completed one who might fill our own half-empty void. We are no longer seeking to be enlightened by a guru who seems to have realized the spiritual magic that is missing from our own life. We even transcend the allure of success or fame that masks the fear of our own impending death.

In the first spontaneous sight and soul embrace with our destined love, we are stunned. In an instant our mind widens from ordinary to infinite, our heart expands to the edges of the galaxy and our body feels the promise of an ecstasy greater than anything we have ever known. In that split second shift from seeking to finding, our whole being is ignited.  A spontaneous force of Eros springs forth from our own fullness, spilling into their own fullness. We realize that we are now two beings expanding limitlessly in a radiant field of consciousness that includes us and all existence within an infinite Universe that is eternally whole. 

Such a destined love opens secret doors into the deepest chambers of our hearts. We recognize that something miraculous is happening. We perceive that we are two souls reunited, reborn and renewed in a new love that is freshly sacred, rejoicing in what was previously thought to be beyond possibility.

Oh beautiful ones, knowing that this is possible for you will set in motion a remembering that becomes a longing which turns into an unstoppable yearning and then an actuality and finally your own destiny. 

Our birthright is Divine Love. We are each a soul who has come to planet earth to have many experiences and adventures where we love and lose and love again over and over during many lifetimes until we are softened and ripened sufficiently to be prepared for our destined love. How could it be otherwise? 

We are all like pure gold originally forged in a primeval fire which has become defiled by the samskaras (Sanskrit for 'latent karmic tendencies shaping one's present life') created during our explorations within the world, requiring that we must be smelted once again in this lifetime by a fire sufficiently hot that we can be restored to our magnificent original shining nature.

Knowing this we bare our hearts bravely to love itself, willingly allowing ourselves to be awakened, opened and undone, to be wounded and healed again, until we are at last ready for the full sacred union with a being who matches our own unique soul signature.

Do you see? We are each meant to remember who we are, not just to commune with the Divine, but to be Divine. Each of us is one with the Prime Creator of all life. The fullness of the destiny of all our human lifetimes is to one day stand in our original stature with another being, as a Divine King with our Divine Queen! 

Everything that occurs in our life prior to the realization of this highest kind of human intimacy is learning and preparation and purification by fire. Such is the serpentine path of the heart that ultimately leads to Divine Union.

How could something so great be realized otherwise? Without struggle, heartbreak and all the permutations of experience in earthly form we would not be ready for or recognize our Twin Soul even if he or she was standing right in front of us. If you are reading these words, perhaps this is the lifetime for such love to appear for you. Understanding this, you must ‘take heart’ and find the courage to continually open your vulnerable heart with the certainty that in this very lifetime you can move through your wounds to be touched by grace, striding boldly within the illumination that has all along been preparing you for your greatest love.

For each man contemplating this, what would it feel like to be seen and honored and held by a feminine being whose gaze reflects back to you that among all the world you are her Divine King? 

For each woman contemplating this, what would it feel like to be seen and honored and held by a masculine being whose gaze reflects back to you that among all the world you are his Divine Queen?

Until now, this is the stuff of fairy tales and mythology. Most of the historical stories about ‘true love’ that have been passed down to us end tragically. Think of Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, and Eloise and Abelard. Through such stories inherited by the shared psyche of humanity we are told that it is futile to reach for something greater, that we should accept our lot and settle for whatever we get in life and love. We are told that reaching for something ‘sublime and Divine’ in love is fantasy and will always end badly.

The rusty anchor of this cultural curse of doomed love must be cast off in our generation and for all time. We must dare to reach for our highest love and sail free. Now is the time for us to create our own noble adventures and write stories of a new archetype of sacred love that ends exquisitely. We are the ones to do it!

Historically speaking, until recently marriage was solely about power, position and survival. Throughout history marriages were arranged and primarily about the continuation of the family line. Love rarely had anything to do with it until just a few generations ago. That is why the old stories handed down to us of true love ending tragically have been so deeply instilled in our collective awareness. Anyone who reached for a higher love was killed or banished from the kingdom. The perpetuation of such stories innocently told and read to us as children in each succeeding generation had the effect of keeping us all in line.

In the past, when the focus was on the family lineage, external appearances and putting food on the table, ‘love’ was seen as frivolous. At least in modern times if we want to birth and raise children within a stable family structure, we can look for someone who brings a blended form of meeting our needs for survival and sharing love in our decision-making process for choosing a mate. 

Only when our primal survival needs are handled does our attention naturally begins to shift to feeling the innermost needs of our soul. It is then that we have the freedom to place the ideal of sacred love at the top of the pyramid of our life, allowing its magnetic force to guide the compass that leads us into our deepest heart’s desires. 

Sacred love in its highest form between two human beings is what is known as ‘Heiros Gamos’, an ancient Greek word meaning Sacred Marriage, Holy Love, Divine Union. Since the days of the ancient Greek philosophers, within our collective human history we have rarely dared to contemplate the possibility of this kind of love in our own lives.

Quantum Merging speaks to this highest expression of love, desire and devotion that is now beginning to be lived in a new form by courageous men and women here and there all over the world. We are the ones who can finally heal the division between Sex and Spirit. Our Universe is extraordinary

arising within the greater cosmic Multiverse

intricate and expansive beyond our wildest dreams

It is far greater than just its physical displays

in our visible Universe is a less visible world 

holding secrets which require a mystical understanding

The first of these rivers of pure energy originate

in the unfathomably vast expanse of cosmic stardust 

They are the ‘star rivers’ 

found within every galaxy,

including the one named for us

These star rivers flow ceaselessly 

in the form of magnetic conduits

between the spiraling nebulae of whirling suns 

and the attracted orbits of the planets 

and silvery moons which perpetually spin

toward and around them

These rivers of stars are so dense

that they appear to be like heavenly roads

which the ancients used to ‘walk’

with the imagination and longing of their souls

They understood that the lights streaming 

from the physical stars were conduits of energy

connecting different quadrants of the Universe,

as well as acting as carriers of information

in the form of light and vibrational frequencies 

which could tune the delicate higher structures

of our human brain and nervous system

and all life on this planet

The second of these rivers of energy are the pure crystalline springs

that emerge from deep within the earth 

They are the energetic currents 

found only within pure springs

that activate larger streams and rivers

which used to be found everywhere across the earth,

but that are now becoming increasingly rare

These rivers born of clear spring water 

from deep within the earth untouched by humankind  

contain a pristine energy filled with ionic minerals

carrying magnetic crystalline 

molecules which further help to balance 

the electromagnetic field of the earth

These spring-fed rivers are vessels of the purest water
